Frequently asked questions

Are translation files uploaded?

No. Parsing, comparison, pseudo-localization and conversion run locally.

Which formats are supported?

JSON, ARB, YAML, Java Properties, PO and XLIFF are supported; formatting may not round-trip exactly.

Does this fully validate ICU messages?

No. It checks common placeholders and brace balance; runtime compilation remains authoritative.

Why pseudo-localize?

Expanded and bidirectional strings expose clipping, hard-coded copy and direction assumptions.
