Frequently asked questions
Are the LUFS values certified?
No. The local estimator follows EBU R128 and BS.1770 concepts but is not a calibrated delivery meter. Verify contractual masters with approved tools.
Which audio formats work?
Decoding follows the browser and operating system. WAV is broadly supported; MP3, AAC, Ogg, Opus and FLAC support can vary.
Does audio leave the device?
No. Decoding, PCM analysis, edits, preview WAV and downloads are created in this browser.
Does normalization prevent clipping?
Peak normalization targets sample peak and gain is clamped, but it is not a true-peak limiter. Recheck the exported result for your delivery requirements.
