Frequently asked questions
Are these real-time trading rates?
No. They are sourced reference rates, generally published daily by central banks. Payment, card, cash, and trading quotes include different timing, spreads, and fees.
Why is the latest rate dated earlier than today?
Many providers do not publish on weekends or holidays. The tool displays the actual source date rather than pretending the rate is newer.
What does blended provider mean?
Frankfurter combines available central-bank sources. You can instead select a named provider when its currency coverage supports the pair.
Does Nobuf receive the amount I enter?
No. The browser sends currency codes and requested dates to Frankfurter; multiplication by your amount happens locally after the rate arrives.
