How to use it

  1. 01

    Build your world clock

Add cities by name, country, alias, or IANA zone and compare live dates, offsets, work hours, and solar times.

  2. 02

    Convert or plan safely

Resolve real instants across DST gaps and repeated times, or rank fair meeting windows for several locations.

  3. 03

    Share the result

Create an international event preview, copy a URL-fragment share link, or download a standards-compatible ICS calendar file.

Frequently asked questions

Does this use fixed UTC offsets?

No. It uses browser IANA time-zone data through Intl, so locations follow historical and future daylight-saving rules available in the browser.

How are missing or repeated DST times handled?

Missing spring-forward wall times are rejected. Repeated fall-back times show an ambiguity and let you explicitly choose the earlier or later instant.

Are my cities and events uploaded?

No. Saved locations and preferences remain in this browser. Event share links encode the event in the URL fragment, which is not sent to Nobuf.

Can it find a meeting time for several offices?

Yes. The planner scores real candidate instants against each participant’s IANA zone, weekend, working, preferred, and lunch hours and explains the tradeoffs.

Can I add the result to a calendar?

Yes. Event and meeting results can be exported as UTC-based ICS files that calendar apps display in each viewer’s local zone.

Will the displayed DST rules always remain correct?

They reflect the time-zone database shipped by your browser or operating system. Governments can change future rules, so important distant events should be rechecked closer to the date.

Does it work offline?

After the shared static Service Worker caches this route and its core assets, live clocks and local calculations work offline. Browser cache policies still apply.

Why do some regions have 30- or 45-minute offsets?

Real civil time zones are not all whole hours. The engine preserves offsets such as Nepal’s +05:45, Chatham’s +12:45 or +13:45, and Lord Howe’s 30-minute DST shift.
