Image Studio & Batch Optimizer

Local only

Edit, resize, convert, inspect, and batch-optimize images without uploading them.

Images stay on this deviceCanvas, metadata parsing, Workers, and exports run locally—no upload endpoint is used.

Drop images into your private studio

Open one image or a complete folder. Files are signature-checked and decoded only by your browser.

Honest browser capabilities
Animation editing, RAW development, HEIC conversion, remote AI background removal, and guaranteed metadata preservation are not exposed in this static build. Availability never depends on an upload server.

How to use it

  1. 01

    Open images locally

Choose files, a folder, drag images, or paste a clipboard image. Magic signatures are checked before browser decoding.

  2. 02

    Edit or batch optimize

Crop, resize, rotate, flip, adjust color, add layers, compare, inspect metadata, or apply one export policy to a queue.

  3. 03

    Export real files

Download JPEG, PNG, or WebP, target a practical file size, build a collage, or package favicon and batch results as ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Decoding, preview, edits, analysis, and export run in this browser. Files are stored in IndexedDB only when you explicitly save a project.

Which formats can I open?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF first frames, BMP, and browser-decodable AVIF or TIFF are detected by file signature. Actual decoding depends on browser support.

Which formats can I export?

The reliable static-browser outputs are JPEG, PNG, and WebP. AVIF is hidden unless the current browser can prove it can encode a valid AVIF blob.

Does resize preserve image quality?

High-quality export resizing uses a locally bundled Pica engine. Enlarging cannot recreate detail that was not present in the source.

Does it preserve animation?

No. Animated GIF and WebP files are currently edited as a still first frame, and the interface states this limitation instead of silently promising animation output.

Does visual redaction remove hidden information?

It permanently covers exported pixels in the rendered output, but it is not a forensic guarantee for the original file. Always export with metadata stripping and inspect the result.

Can it remove image backgrounds with AI?

Yes. The separate Remove Background tool runs a verified ONNX model locally in your browser and provides manual alpha-mask refinement without uploading the image.

Can it process very large images?

Workers and internal scrolling reduce UI blocking, but browser memory and maximum Canvas dimensions still apply. Large images receive an honest performance warning.
