Office Document Privacy Checker & Repair Tool

Local Open XML analysis

Inspect DOCX, XLSX and PPTX packages, reveal hidden data, and export a deliberately cleaned copy.

Inspect an Office document before sharing

Reveal package relationships, personal properties, comments, revisions, hidden content, external targets, macros and embedded objects without opening the document in Office.

The original stays on this device
The package is parsed and rebuilt locally. Cleaning creates a new download and never mutates the source file.

How to use it

  3. 03

    Clean with explicit choices

Preview every planned change, export a new package, and keep the original file untouched.

Frequently asked questions

Which Office files are supported?

The editor focuses on ZIP-based Open XML and OPC packages such as DOCX, DOCM, XLSX, XLSM, PPTX and PPTM. Legacy binary DOC, XLS and PPT files are not rewritten.

Does cleaning guarantee that a document is anonymous or safe?

No. It removes selected known package parts and markup. Visual content, custom extensions and application behavior still require review in an isolated Office environment.

Are macros executed?

Never. Macro, ActiveX and embedded-object parts are inventoried as inert bytes. Removing them is optional because it can change document behavior.

Is my document uploaded?

No. Reading, graph analysis, cleaning and export happen in the browser with same-origin code.
